Product Detail

The Airmar B285C High Wide 1Kw CHIRP Bronze Thru Hull comes with a Garmin 12-Pin Mix-N-Match Cable. Model: B285C-HW-12G. It offers depth and temperature measurement, a bronze housing, and exclusive Xducer ID® technology. With Airmar's wide beam Chirp product line, you get more coverage under the boat. These transducers have a high frequency range of 150 - 250 kHz and a constant 25° beamwidth, providing broadband performance at its best. They improve the performance of Chirp - ready echosounders. Anglers using these single - band, wide beam transducers will get twice the coverage under the boat compared to current high frequency Chirp transducers. The high frequency transducers have a constant 25° beamwidth across the entire frequency band. This not only provides vast bottom coverage and precise fish detection in the upper water column that narrow beam transducers might miss but also creates crisper and larger return images on the display. Specifications: CHIRP Frequency 150 - 250kHz, Beam width constant 25°, Maximum depth 500'. What's in the box: B285C, High Speed Fairing Block, MMC - 12G.

Using this Airmar transducer is easy. First, make sure you install it properly according to the included instructions. When using, turn on your echosounder and it will start working right away to show you depth and temperature. Remember to check the cable connections regularly to ensure a stable signal. For maintenance, keep the transducer clean. You can gently wipe it with a soft cloth after each use. Avoid hitting it against hard objects as it might damage the bronze housing. If you notice any performance issues, check the specifications to make sure you're within the limits, like not exceeding the maximum depth of 500 feet. And that's all you need to know to keep this great transducer working well for you.
