Product Detail

Airmar B175 is a top - notch wide - beam Chirp high - frequency transducer with a 20d tilted element, paired with a Garmin 12 - pin mix - and - match cable. Model: B175C - 20 - HW - 12G. It's a depth and fast - response water - temperature sensor. With high - CHIRPS from 150 kHz to 250 kHz, a 25° constant beamwidth, and 100 kHz of total bandwidth from one transducer, it covers the popular 200 kHz fishing frequency and more. Suitable for fiberglass or wood hulls on boats 8 m (25’) and above. Airmar's new wide - beam Chirp line offers better coverage under the boat. Compared to current high - frequency Chirp transducers, it gives anglers twice the coverage. The constant 25° beam width across the frequency band provides great bottom coverage, precise fish detection, and crisper, larger return images on the display. Specifications include a 16° to 24° deadrise, urethane acoustic window, 1 kW @ 1% duty cycle power rating, and 150 to 250 kHz - A (Broadband) frequency. The box includes a B175C - 20 - HW - MM transducer and an MMC - 12G mix - and - match cable.

Using this Airmar B175 transducer is easy. First, make sure your boat has a fiberglass or wood hull and is at least 8 m (25’) in size. Check that the deadrise of your boat is between 16° and 24°. Connect the MMC - 12G mix - and - match cable to the transducer and then to your compatible device. When you're out on the water, the transducer will start detecting the depth and water temperature quickly. For better results, ensure the transducer is installed correctly and is in good contact with the water. As for maintenance, after each use, rinse the transducer with fresh water to remove any salt, dirt, or debris. Store it in a dry place. If you notice any damage to the urethane acoustic window or the cable, get it checked or replaced as soon as possible. Also, keep in mind the power rating of 1 kW @ 1% duty cycle to avoid overloading the transducer.
