Product Detail

The Airmar B175 Wide-Beam Chirp High Frequency transducer with a 20d tilted element comes with a Raymarine 11-pin Mix and Match Cable (Model: B175C-20-HW-11R). It's a depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor. It offers high CHIRPS from 150 kHz to 250 kHz, a 25° constant beamwidth, and 100 kHz of total bandwidth from one transducer. It covers the popular fishing frequency of 200 kHz and everything else in the bandwidth. Suitable for fiberglass or wood hulls on boats 8 m (25') and above. With Airmar's new wide beam Chirp product line, you'll get more coverage under the boat. These transducers are broadband at their best, with a high frequency range of 150 - 250 kHz and a constant 25° beam width. They improve the performance of Chirp-ready echosounders, and anglers will get twice the coverage compared to current high frequency Chirp transducers. The new high frequency transducers have a constant 25° beam width across the entire frequency band, providing vast bottom coverage, precise fish detection in the upper water column, and crisper, larger return images on the display. Requires additional Cable A80328 when used as a single or A102146 as a pair. Specifications include a deadrise of 16° to 24°, an acoustic window of urethane, a power rating of 1 kW @ 1% duty cycle, and a frequency of 150 to 250 kHz - A (Broadband). The box includes a B175C-20-HW-MM Transducer and an MMC-11R Mix and Match Cable.

Using the Airmar B175C-20-HW transducer is easy. First, make sure your boat's hull is fiberglass or wood and is at least 8 m (25') in size. Install the transducer according to the manufacturer's instructions. When using it, you'll get accurate depth and water - temperature readings. Remember, if you're using it as a single unit, you'll need to add Cable A80328. If using a pair, add Cable A102146. For maintenance, keep the acoustic window clean. The urethane window can be gently wiped with a soft cloth. Also, check the cable connections regularly to ensure they're secure. This transducer operates best with a deadrise of 16° to 24° and a power rating of 1 kW @ 1% duty cycle. With a frequency range of 150 to 250 kHz - A (Broadband), it's great for fishing at the popular 200 kHz frequency and more. Have fun fishing and enjoy the clear images on your display!
