Product Detail

The Airmar B175C-20-H is a high - frequency CHIRP transducer with a permanently tilted element. It comes with a Humminbird 9 - Pin Mix - N - Match cable. This transducer serves as a depth and fast - response water - temperature sensor. It offers high - CHIRP from 150 kHz to 210 kHz, with a total bandwidth of 80 kHz from a single transducer. It covers the popular 200 kHz fishing frequency and more. Ideal for boats 8 m (25’) and above, it's suitable for fiberglass or wood hulls. The ceramic elements inside are tilted to compensate for hull deadrise, ensuring the sonar beam points straight down for maximum echo returns. Flush/tilted transducers can be mounted through a hole in fiberglass, metal, or wooden hulls. High - frequency operation provides greater detail, making it perfect for shallower waters and anglers fishing at depths less than 1500 feet. Specifications include a deadrise of 16 - 25°, a urethane acoustic window, a 1 kW power rating at 1% duty cycle, a frequency range of 130 to 210 kHz - A (Broadband), a 10° to 6° beam, and a max depth of 1000 ft. The package includes a B175C - 20 - H - MM Transducer and an MMC - HB Mix - N - Match Cable.

Using this Airmar transducer is easy. First, choose a suitable spot on your boat's hull (fiberglass, metal, or wood) and drill a hole for mounting. Make sure to install the transducer with the outside of the fitting flush against the exterior hull surface. Connect the Humminbird 9 - Pin Mix - N - Match cable properly to your sonar device. When using it, keep in mind that this transducer is great for shallower waters and depths less than 1500 feet. It works best with boats 8 m (25’) and above. For maintenance, regularly check the transducer for any signs of damage, like cracks in the housing or frayed cables. Clean it gently with a soft cloth to remove any dirt or debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they may damage the urethane acoustic window. Also, ensure that the mounting area remains tight and secure to prevent water leakage.
