Product Detail

The Airmar B175C-20-H is a high - performance CHIRP high - frequency transducer with a Garmin 12 - Pin Mix - N - Match cable. Model B175C - 20 - H - 12G. It features a depth and fast - response water - temperature sensor. It CHIRPs from 150 kHz to 210 kHz, with 80 kHz of total bandwidth from a single transducer. This transducer is suitable for boats 8 m (25’) and above. It covers the popular 200 kHz fishing frequency and all other frequencies in the bandwidth. Ideal for fiberglass or wood hulls. Its ceramic elements are permanently tilted inside the housing to compensate for hull deadrise, ensuring the beam is aimed straight down for maximum echo returns and no need for a fairing. Flush/tilted transducers can be mounted through a hole in fiberglass, metal, or wooden hulls. High frequency means greater detail, perfect for shallower water and anglers fishing at depths less than 1500 feet. Specifications: Deadrise 16 - 25°, Acoustic Window Urethane, Power rating 1 kW @ 1% duty cycle, Frequency 130 to 210 kHz - A (Broadband), Beam 10° to 6° beam, Max Depth 1000ft. In the box: B175C - 20 - H - MM Transducer and MMC - 12G Mix - N - Match Cable.

Using the Airmar B175C - 20 - H transducer is easy. First, find a suitable place on your boat's hull (fiberglass, metal, or wood) and drill a hole for the transducer. Then, mount the transducer so that the outside of the fitting is flush against the exterior hull surface. Connect the Garmin 12 - Pin Mix - N - Match cable to your sonar device. When using, keep in mind that this transducer is best for boats 8 meters or longer and works well in shallower water, less than 1500 feet. It's very sensitive to small targets, so you'll get detailed images on your echosounder screen. As for maintenance, regularly check the transducer for any signs of damage or wear. Clean it gently with a soft cloth and mild soap if it gets dirty. Also, make sure the cable connections are tight and free from corrosion. Avoid exposing the transducer to extreme temperatures or rough handling. This will help keep your transducer working at its best for a long time.
