Product Detail

Airmar B285C High Wide 1Kw CHIRP Bronze Thru Hull comes with a Humminbird 14-Pin Mix-N-Match Cable. Model B285C-HW-14HB offers depth and temperature detection. It has a bronze housing and exclusive Xducer ID® technology. With Airmar's wide beam Chirp product line, you get more coverage under the boat. These transducers have a high frequency range of 150 - 250 kHz and a constant 25° beamwidth, being truly broadband. They improve the performance of Chirp - ready echosounders. Anglers using single - band, wide beam transducers can achieve twice the coverage compared to current high - frequency Chirp transducers. The high - frequency transducers maintain a constant 25° beamwidth across the frequency band. They provide vast bottom coverage and precise fish detection in the upper water column. Airmar's wide beam format also creates crisper and larger return images on the display. Specifications: CHIRP Frequency 150 - 250kHz, Beam width constant 25°, Maximum depth 500'. What's in the box: B285C, High Speed Fairing Block, MMC - 14HB.

Using this Airmar B285C - HW Thru - Hull Transducer is easy. First, make sure to install it according to the included instructions. The cable can be connected to your Humminbird device with the 14 - pin connection. When you're out on the water, turn on your echosounder and start using it to detect depth and temperature. For best results, operate it within the specified frequency range of 150 - 250 kHz. As for maintenance, keep the bronze housing clean. After each use, rinse it with fresh water to remove any salt or debris. Check the cable regularly for any signs of wear. Also, avoid hitting the transducer against hard objects as it could damage the internal components. When storing, keep it in a dry place away from extreme temperatures. If you have any problems, refer to the user manual or contact customer support.
