Product Detail

The Airmar B175 Chirp Medium Frequency 0° Tilted Element comes with a Raymarine 11-Pin Mix-N-Match Cable. Model: B175C-0-M-11R. It's a depth and fast - response water - temperature sensor. With a medium CHIRP range from 85 kHz to 135 kHz, it has a 24° to 16° beamwidth and offers 50 kHz of total bandwidth from a single transducer. It covers popular fishing frequencies like 88 and 107 kHz. Ideal for fiberglass or wood hulls on boats 8 m (25’) and above. Airmar's new broadband transducers are great for any fishing mission, whether you're a commercial fisherman, charter captain, or tournament angler. Chirp transducers can detect the bottom down to 3,000m (10,000’) with 5 to 10 times more detail, allowing you to tell apart baitfish, game fish, and underwater structures. One installation saves time and money. An additional cable is required: A80328 for single transducer use and A102146 for transducer pair use. Specifications include a deadrise of 0° to 7°, an acoustic window of urethane, a power rating of 1 kW @ 1% duty cycle, and a frequency range of 85 - 135 kHz. The box includes B175C - 0 - MM and MMC - 11R - HM.

Using the Airmar B175C - 0 - M transducer is straightforward. First, make sure you choose the right cable according to your application. If it's a single transducer setup, use cable A80328. For a transducer pair, go for A102146. Install it on your boat's fiberglass or wood hull, which should be at least 8 meters long. Once installed, it will start providing depth and water - temperature information. When fishing, you'll be able to see detailed views of the underwater world, helping you spot different types of fish. As for maintenance, keep the acoustic window clean. It's made of urethane, so use a gentle cleaner. Check the cable regularly for any signs of wear and tear. Also, make sure the power supply meets the 1 kW @ 1% duty cycle requirement for proper operation. If you notice any issues, consult a professional.
