Product Detail

The Airmar B175 is a wide-beam CHIRP high-frequency transducer with a 0° tilted element and a bare wire mix-n-match cable. Model B175C-0-HW-0 is a depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor. It offers high CHIRP frequencies from 150 kHz to 250 kHz, a 25° constant beamwidth, and 100 kHz of total bandwidth from one transducer. It covers the popular 200 kHz fishing frequency. Suitable for fiberglass or wood hulls on boats 8 m (25’) and above. With Airmar's new wide beam Chirp product line, you get more coverage under the boat. These transducers have a high frequency range of 150 - 250 kHz and a constant 25° beam width, delivering the best broadband performance. They improve the performance of Chirp-ready echosounders and give anglers twice the coverage compared to current high frequency Chirp transducers. The new high frequency transducers have a constant 25° beam width across the entire frequency band. They provide vast bottom coverage, precise fish detection in the upper water column, and create crisper and larger return images on the display. Specifications include a deadrise of 0° to 7°, an acoustic window of urethane, a power rating of 1 kW @ 1% duty cycle, and a frequency of 150 to 250 kHz - A (Broadband). The box includes a B175C-0-HW-MM Transducer and an MMC-0 Mix and Match Cable.

Using the Airmar B175C-0-HW-0 transducer is quite straightforward. First, make sure your boat's hull is fiberglass or wood and at least 8 meters long. Install the transducer following the provided instructions, ensuring it's properly aligned. Connect the mix-n-match cable to the appropriate equipment on your boat. When in use, turn on your echosounder and let the transducer do its job. It will provide depth and water temperature readings, as well as help you detect fish. Regarding maintenance, keep the transducer clean. After each use, rinse it with fresh water to remove any salt or debris. Check the cable regularly for any signs of damage. If you notice any issues, such as a frayed cable or poor performance, contact the manufacturer for assistance. Also, store the transducer in a dry place when not in use to prevent corrosion. And remember, this transducer works best with a deadrise angle between 0° and 7° on your boat.
