Using this switch is easy. First, check the voltage of your system - it works with 12V/24V DC. The switch is rated for 20A at 12V DC and 15A at 24V DC, so make sure your electrical load doesn't exceed these ratings. It has 1/4' blade terminals for connection. The two amber LEDs are already included, adding a nice visual touch. To install, simply snap it into a panel hole that's 1.45' x .83' and the panel should be between .093' to .187' thick. As for maintenance, keep it clean and dry since it's resistant to high - pressure washes but still avoid long - term exposure to extreme conditions. Remember, this product contains chemicals that can be harmful, so follow the warning on P65Warnings.ca.gov. Also, the black and gray switches and covers can be interchanged if needed, which is handy for common boat types.
