Product Detail

Airmar B175 is a top - notch wide - beam Chirp high - frequency transducer with a 20d tilted element and bare wire. Model: B175C - 20 - HW - 0. It serves as both a depth and fast - response water - temperature sensor. With a high CHIRP range from 150 kHz to 250 kHz, a constant 25° beamwidth, and 100 kHz of total bandwidth from one transducer, it covers the popular 200 kHz fishing frequency and more. Ideal for fiberglass or wood hulls on boats 8 m (25’) and above. Airmar's new wide - beam Chirp line offers more coverage under the boat. It improves the performance of Chirp - ready echosounders and gives anglers twice the coverage compared to current high - frequency Chirp transducers. The constant 25° beam width across the frequency band provides vast bottom coverage, precise fish detection in the upper water column, and crisper, larger return images on the display. Specifications: Deadrise is 16° to 24°, acoustic window is urethane, power rating is 1 kW @ 1% duty cycle, and frequency is 150 to 250 kHz - A (Broadband). In the box: B175C - 20 - HW - MM Transducer and MMC - 0 Mix and Match Cable.

Using the Airmar B175C - 20 - HW transducer is easy. First, make sure your boat's hull is fiberglass or wood and is at least 8 m (25’) in size. Then, install the transducer according to the instructions that came with it. Connect the MMC - 0 Mix and Match Cable properly. When using, turn on your Chirp - ready echosounder and start getting depth and water - temperature readings. Remember, the deadrise of your boat should be between 16° and 24°. For maintenance, keep the acoustic window (urethane) clean. You can use a soft cloth to wipe it gently. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the transducer. Store it in a dry place when not in use. If you notice any problems, like poor image quality on the display, check the connections first and make sure the power rating requirements are met.
