Product Detail

The Airmar B175 is a wide - beam Chirp high - frequency transducer paired with a Garmin 12 - Pin Mix - N - Match cable. Model: B175C - 12 - HW - 12G. It serves as a depth and fast - response water - temperature sensor. With a high CHIRP range from 150 kHz to 250 kHz, a 25° constant beamwidth, and 100 kHz of total bandwidth from one transducer, it covers the popular 200 kHz fishing frequency and more. Ideal for fiberglass or wood hull boats sized 8 m (25’) and above. Airmar's new wide - beam Chirp product line provides more coverage under the boat. Compared to current high - frequency Chirp transducers, it offers twice the coverage. The constant 25° beam width across the frequency band gives vast bottom coverage, precise fish detection in the upper water column, and crisper, larger return images on the display. Specifications: Deadrise 8° to 15°, Acoustic Window Urethane, Power rating 1 kW @ 1% duty cycle, Frequency 150 to 250 kHz - A (Broadband).

Using the Airmar B175 transducer is easy. First, make sure it's properly installed on your boat. It's suitable for fiberglass or wood hull boats that are 8 meters or longer. Connect it to your device using the Garmin 12 - Pin cable. When you're out on the water, it will give you depth and water - temperature readings quickly. To get the best results, ensure the deadrise of your boat is between 8° and 15°. As for maintenance, keep the acoustic window (made of urethane) clean. Avoid hitting the transducer against hard objects. If you notice any issues with the readings or the cable, check the connections first. Remember, this transducer has a power rating of 1 kW at a 1% duty cycle, so don't overload it. With proper use and care, it will serve you well for a long time.
