Using this Blue Sea 8065 backlight system is a breeze. First, find a Blue Sea Systems circuit breaker panel and install it easily. Connect it to a 12 or 24 Volt power source with the two 6' 18 AWG wire leads provided. There's no need to worry about getting the polarity wrong as it has built - in reverse polarity protection. You can adjust it to 5 or 3 positions by simply snapping it apart. As for maintenance, keep it clean and dry.
