Using your Abu Garcia Revo X low profile left hand reel is easy. First, make sure your fishing line is properly spooled onto the reel. Attach your lure or bait to the line. When casting, hold the rod firmly with your right hand (since it's a left-hand reel) and use your thumb to control the spool. As you reel in, feel the smooth drag provided by the Carbon Matrix™ system. Be careful not to over-tighten the drag as it may damage the line. After each use, rinse the reel with fresh water to remove any salt or dirt. Store it in a dry place. Occasionally, lubricate the moving parts to keep it in good working condition.
