This ingenious dinghy mast prop is specially designed to support the rear end of a dinghy mast during towing. It easily fits onto standard transom fittings and is ready to use right away. You can fully adjust it to different transom heights, and it comes with a removable pintle to suit various transom layouts.

The yolk has a soft neoprene pad that protects the mast, shrouds, and lines. There are big eyelets in the yolk so you can easily attach a securing line. You can also fit a trailer board to the cross - plate using 2 x 6mm screws (not included).

Using this dinghy mast prop is a breeze. First, find the standard transom fittings on your dinghy. Fit the prop onto these fittings. You don't need to use any fastenings, so it's quick to set up. Then, adjust the prop according to the height of your transom. If your transom layout requires it, you can remove the pintle. Attach a securing line through the eyelets in the yolk to keep everything stable during towing. If you want to use a trailer board, you can fit it to the cross - plate with 2 x 6mm screws (you'll need to get these yourself). When it comes to maintenance, after each use, rinse the prop with fresh water to remove any salt or debris. Check the neoprene pad regularly for wear and tear. If it gets damaged, consider replacing it. Store the prop in a dry place when not in use to prevent rust and other damage. Always make sure the prop is properly adjusted and secured before towing to ensure your safety and prevent any damage to your mast and deck.
